Please contact your School District's IT Coordinator or contact a Municipal Accounting Systems, Inc. Representative before making changes to these settings.
Click the Options Menu, LEA Setup to access the LEA Setup Screen.
The LEA Setup Tab Slider will appear. Select the LEA Tab. The selected tab is highlighted by a black box.
Select the Settings Tab. The selected tab is highlighted by a black box.
Then, click the Email Server Tab.
Input specifications are as follows:
Use Gmail API: Use this option ONLY if you want to set Gmail® as the email server. To view documentation on Gmail® Setup, click here.
Note: DO NOT check the Check Box if you are entering another server to send emails.
SMTP Server Host: Enter the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol Server Host. This is the server from where LEA emails are sent.
SMTP Server Port: Enter the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol Server Port.
Enable SSL: Check the Enable SSL Check Box.
Allow Save Credentials: The system defaults the Allow Save Credentials Check Box to checked. If you do not want to allow users to save their credentials, un-check the Check Box.
Special Instructions: You may enter Special Instructions for the Email Server, if applicable. For example, "Enter Gmail® credentials."
Click
next to the Tabs to save the settings.
