i-Student Information
Options | Site Setup | Settings | Grade Settings: Added a new Working Transcript setting to display a Working Transcript popup while navigating in Student Maintenance.
With this new setting, you can specify the Transcript Report Option to designate how the Working Transcript will be populated.
Additionally, a new Working Transcript report can be designed to use a specific layout by specifying the Transcript Layout setting.
The Working Transcript is available in Student Maintenance as a floating popup that can be sized, moved, and collapsed so that you can work in different areas of Student Maintenance while still having access to the information on the Working Transcript.
The Working Transcript popup can be accessed by clicking the Working Transcript option from the Tools/Reports menu in Student Maintenance.
Options | Site Setup | Settings | Notification Settings: Added new options to send an email using your school Google or Microsoft account for Attendance Letters, Eligibility Letters, Discipline Incidents, and Grade Cards.
When each option is enabled, a new Send Notifications link will be available when processing each of these actions.
The Send Notifications option will send an email to the Primary Guardian’s default email. If the Primary Guardian does not have a default email, the associated report will be printed instead for that Student.
You can select to attach a pdf of the Attendance Letter, Eligibility Letter, or Grade Card to the email. For a Discipline Incident Notification, you can specify to include details about the incident in the body of the email.
A record of the Notification is also saved/updated each time the Send Notifications action is processed.
Those notifications can be viewed/deleted in the Student Maintenance/Notifications tab.
The Guardian and Student will also have access to the Notifications in the Site Notices of the Guardian/Student Portal. The Site Notices are displayed for 14 days from the Date Sent.
When the email is sent, the default is to send from the logged in User’s associated Google or Microsoft account.
You can override this behavior for each option by specifying the Send From Override.
This option will allow you to select a specific User from which to send the email. The associated Google or Microsoft account for that User will be used to send the email.
It is important to note that because the email will be sent from that User’s associated Google or Microsoft account, the email is accessible in the Sent items of that User’s email.
Options | New Year Rollup | Student Rollup: Added the ability to select the specific Federal Codes to rollup for the Student(s).
Previously, the option was to rollup all (default) or none. Now, you have the option to select the specific codes to rollup. The default is all codes selected.
Options | New Year Rollup | Student Rollup: Added a new option Copy Locker Assignment.
This new option will copy the locker assignment for the Student(s) to the new school year. The default is not checked.
Options | New Year Rollup | Clear Extra Fields: Added a new option to allow you to clear the Extra Fields values for the Student(s).
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Extra Field values are not stored by school year. So, as soon as you run this option, the values for the selected Extra Fields will be cleared for the Student(s).
If there is a default defined for the Extra Field, it will be applied to the student(s).
