Click the Options Menu, LEA Setup to access the LEA Setup Screen.
The LEA Setup Tab Slider will appear. Select the Code Tables Tab. The selected tab is highlighted by a black box.
Select Item: Use the Drop Down List Box to select Discipline Action Code.
The Discipline Action Code Grid will appear.
Click 
next to the Discipline
Action Code Grid.
The Discipline Action Code Form will appear.
Input specifications are as follows:
UID: Enter a user defined identification code for the Discipline Action.
Description: Enter a description for the Discipline Action.
Active: The system defaults the Active Check Box to checked. However, you may un-check the Check Box if the Discipline Action is no longer active.
LengthInMinutes: Enter the duration of the Discipline Action in number of minutes, if applicable.
NumberDays: Enter the duration of the Discipline Action in number of days, if applicable.
Points: Enter the number of Points to be assigned for this Discipline Action, if applicable.
Location: Enter the Location for this Discipline Action, if applicable.
StartTime: Enter a Start Time for the Discipline Action, if applicable.
Click 
to
save the Discipline Action Code.
Click
to save the Discipline Action Code and
add another.
For any school district defined Discipline Action Code that will be reported to the Wave, you must specify the SIF Code mapping.
Select the appropriate Discipline Action Code from the Discipline Category Code Grid. The selected Code is highlighted in blue.
Click next to the Discipline
Action Code SIF Codes Grid.
Input specifications are as follows:
SIF Version: Use the Drop Down List Box to enter the SIF Version.
SIF Code: Enter the SIF Code. Please refer to the 2.X Wave Requirements Version 1.11 document - Section 7.27 DisciplineIncident Action Code for a list of the valid SIF codes.
